Hello and welcome to my webpage.
I am Linda Bourdon, a retired child psychologist who lives with my husband in Williamsburg, VA. I keep busy with grandchildren, golf, and traveling when I’m not at my easel.
I came to painting later in life. Both of my children are talented artists, and for many years I watched them create with an ease and confidence that always inspired me. I finally picked up a brush and discovered that creativity does not have an expiration date, and it is never too late to follow the pull of something that brings you joy.
I work primarily in acrylics, drawn to their immediacy and flexibility. My style is loose and representational, allowing forms to emerge with a sense of movement and spontaneity. I paint to capture the feeling of a moment, the energy of light, the subtlety of shape, and the beauty found in everyday objects and nature. Painting, for me, is an act of curiosity and joy. By exhibiting my work, I hope to share that sense of openness and possibility.
Until now, my work has only been seen in private homes and selected shows (and on my husband's Facebook page - b/c he is my biggest cheerleader). Giclée prints of my favorite pieces will be available for sale starting in 2026. You can email me directly if interested in any of the pieces you see on this site, or look for me on Etsy in the near future. I'm not very active on social media, but my email address is listed here.
Thank you so much for visiting my page!
